Today (the 16th) was Yany's 18th birthday. Finally, after waiting almost 2 years for her to catch up, she's legal and we can run amock.
I had a bad night and ended up not making it to class....but I'll be ok. At least that's what the voice in my head keeps telling me.
Ken had invited me to Q-Zar for 4 hours of laser tag, so I decided to tell everyone else. Marcy, Yany, Shuen, Sean and I all went...but instead of getting there around 7 we made it at 9:20ish (went to Yany's house first for some cheesecake and such)....so we only got to play one game. Unfortunately, they probably shouldn't have let us play at all. We sucked sooooo bad! -_-;; The score was like....96 to 590 or something insane like that.....the sadest part is that it was us and Ken, and I think a few of Ken's friends, versus a bunch of little 10 year olds and a couple of random older kids. Yes, we were a bit out-numbred.....but still...it was mostly little kids. Of course, I was an easy target for the little twerps, being taller than everyone else and all...*sigh* It was hopeless, but it was fun. Despite the shame.
Afterwards we went over to the bowling alley next door to play in the arcade. I played a bunch of DDR, which I hadn't done in ages. Sean actually willingly played for the first time ever. He's crazy.....at one point he was actually smoking a cigarette while he played -_- He really needs to quit...and he said he would by March. Somehow I don't think he's going to be keeping that deadline....>_>;
After that....hmm. Oh. After that we went back to Yany's house and dispersed. Everyone but Shuen and I had class and such the next day so Shuen and I decided to go eat at Applebee's.....well, more like neither of us had eaten and I had no food at home so I convinced him to accompany me lol. He had to stop by his house first, so I took my time driving over, just thinking and enjoying the wind blowing through my hair and the music blasting.
I got there and he hadn't even gotten to his house yet probably...so I walked into the CVS next to the Applebee's and started scrounging around the aisles for cheap things to buy. I eventually found myself in the Haircoloring Products aisle.....and the allure was too great. I bought one of those L'Oreal Highlight kits, which was on sale for like half the price they usually are or something. I like how my hair looks right now with its mostly natural color and all, but I don't know...I feel the need to do something new with it now. Tomorrow I will dye it and hope for the best.
So yea.....eventually Shuen got there and we ordered and ate.....we left the place at 3, when they close -_-; Of course, the food took awhile to get to us, so it wasn't entirely our fault. Yay for 1/2 off appetizers after 10 pm! lol.
Well, tomorrow we're going to go to the State Fair like we usually do for Yany's Birthday, so I better go to bed early enough to get up in time to dye my hair and everything else before having to get to Yany's house to depart towards the Fair.
