Well, we're back where we started again more or less, a couple of minor details changed. If only it hadn't taken this long for us to make this loop, it might have been a little easier now.
Anyway, here's how it goes: I'm going up to Massachussetts to Michael's parents house on November 18th to spend Thanksgiving there, originally returning on plane on the 28th. Instead, now by that date we will have an apartment here in Tampa waiting for the both of us, Michael will have completed the second part of his Cisco certification and will rent a U-Haul moving trunk which we will then the day after Thanksgiving fill with his stuff and I/we will drive from Mass. down to Tampa. When we arrive here about two days later, I will then put my stuff in the truck as well, make a mad-dash for it before my parents have time to realize what's happening, and we will move into our new apartment. He will have a full-time job, and maybe even a second job if necessary, and will work for a year to gain residency and then go to USF. I will go back to school for Spring semester this Spring, working part time as much as I can without compromising my school-work, and will get full-time work over the summer and work on my portfolio to try to get in to the art program by Fall semester.
Yea. We're crazy, but it's more or less what we had planned in the first place, and I'm so excited that we'll be together by November again like I had hoped before ^_^ Sure, money will be sorta tight, but it totally doesn't matter as long as he's there with me :)
The only problem is the stressful task of finding an apartment that is close enough to where I work currently, and not too far or too close to USF, and not in places that are too shady or crappy, etc. We were looking at online listings last night and out of supposedly like 130 listings we only found two seemingly cheap and decent ones. One is right next to Wal-Mart like one parallel street down from where my parents house is though....I don't know if its ridiculous to be moving out of my house to somewhere down the street, but at least I would already know the area and it would be very near work lol.
But omg, we can already see how stressful the apartment hunting and moving process is, and we haven't really even gotten our toes wet yet x_x Its absolutely crazy. Trying to figure out what we would take of his stuff, how, moving truck or rental car or what, or take the bare minimum and fly down, etc. Not to mention finding the apartment and getting all the money together...I'm looking for a third side job to do...I found an ad on craigslist for part-time night data-entry for $11-$15/hr....and I can do that the nights I work at Nella during the morning, and get extra money that I need and put it away to save for everything we'll need with the move and all....I really really hope they answer me and that they are near enough for me to work there, and that they even hire me. *sighs* @_@
Wish us luck. Lots of it. We'll need it. And any donations of any sort are welcome, including just help and support >_>
