Despite my recent lack of blogging I have a lot to talk about. I’ve been a busy little bee. Unfortunately I currently don’t have internet access readily available though, so get used to bulk blogging…
Anyway, let’s start somewhere. How about with my early Christmas present? Michael and I exchanged presents minus the wrapping and festive bows, mystery, and about two weeks too early. But hey, whatever. I ain’t complaining. Recently inspired by other people/artists’ Polaroid pictures I decided I’d enjoy a Polaroid camera. Thus, I now have a Polaroid 600. The camera was cheap, but unfortunately the film, which only comes in packages of 10 photos each, comes out to about $1.00 a picture. A price I’ll be happy to bear with though.
I took a picture of Sean and one of my brother, and they look pretty horrible in them. The instantness of the picture catches people off guard I guess. I think “The Wall of Bad and Odd Pictures” could be interesting though. Sort of anti-glamour and aesthetic, ya know? We’ll see where that goes.
Bleh, tummy ache. I think I’ll blame the Wendy’s food over the Chai tea I made though, since tea is good for you. So they say.
Oh, I got Michael a small MP3 player. Eventually when we have money he’ll get a better one probably though. And I’ll get this one if I want. He’s very happy with it. He takes it with him pretty much everywhere.
So we moved out of my parents’ house on Monday the 18th. The move didn’t take that long, and we pretty much felt at home instantly. It felt like this was normal, as if this were the way it was supposed to be, as Michael said. Yany, her brother, Shuen, and Sean all helped us out. We have no money, no internet (not even nearby wifi signal to steal :-\ ), no table to eat at and only the bare naked essentials, but it’ll do for the first two weeks or so. Everyone is buying us house supplies or appliances though, like plates and glasses, a toaster oven, a microwave, and who knows what else. I don’t know where I’ll put all this stuff come to think of it though lol. But it’s ok, I’ll figure something out.
The bad thing is that we have no monies, and looks like Michael caught a cold or something. I hope I don’t get it. And if I don’t, I’ll be super amazed. Also, his snoring seems less tolerable suddenly -_-;
The other bad, no super sucky thing is that since we have no money, I haven’t been able to buy my AFI ticket for Febuary 1st yet. The january 31st show already sold out, and I’m afraid this one will too, before I get my ticket. But Michael swears that even if he has to send me to Janus Landing with $100 in my pocket to buy a ticket from a scalper, I’m going. Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that though o_o;
