Altoids: The Curiously Strong Mint

I feel, and smell, like a ginormous human mint thanks to this muscle pain medicine spray called Biofreeze. I'm all cool and tingly all over though, which is a nice and new sensation. I wonder if jumping into a pool would give the same effect drinking cold water after eating a mint has on your mouth...hmmm...I will test this some time.

Anyway, I don't remember a whole lot, but I do know it happened. Some time last night while I slept I was jolted awake by the painful and all too familiar feeling of my calf muscle balling up into a throbbing knot of vengence. I did all I could do, massage and stretch the leg while grimacing and cursing, waiting the seizure out. I didn't realise or remember it had really happened until this morning when I woke up to find my leg was stuck in a constant state of the-tense-and-very-painful-pre-cramp-stage, which rendered me bedridden for much of the day until I absolutely -had- to get up and get ready for work. Then I limped and hopped around on one foot a lot. It still hurts now. Michael says its possible that maybe I even pulled a muscle without knowing it or something. I don't know, but I hope it's long gone by the time I wake up tomorrow morning.

So, tomorrow is good ol' St. Patty's Day, and apparently Michael is going to deck out in green from head to toe and parade around town, so I guess I'll join the cause myself. Green eyeshadow is something I don't get the occassion to use often after all XD

So here's a little update on my current state of being:

*I'm living with Michael at my parents' house again

*My car's radiator just crapped out on me a couple of days ago. So far we've figured out that the fans aren't turning on when they should and thus the car super overheats, but we don't know why or how to fix it yet. So I'm carless and relying on my parents to drive Michael and I around -_-;

*My mother is being super stubborn and not letting me drive her car at all, instead inconveniencing everyone further by making it necessary for Dad to take us everywhere, if he feels so inclined that is.

*Michael is now working for Northwest Airlines and gets paid $9/hr *two thumbs up* He and I get free plane tickets for anywhere in the continental US and like $30 First Class seating, discounted flights to the rest of the world, 8 Buddy Passes each for $300 that allows a friend to have 8 round trips anywhere in the continental US, etc. It's awesome. I guess I'll be able to see the whole country if I so please after all! =o

*Being a Barista still doesn't have any downsides except that I still have to stand all the time and my feet are starting to hurt again. I make Michael give me foot massages though XD

*I have some visible cavities on my sort of new and not yet completely grown out wisdom teeth, which means I will definately need to have them removed apparently. I think it's a cavity anyway....

* I am now a fan of Sudoku and am addicted

*I started playing FFXII, and it's beautiful

*300 is a kick ass movie. Blood and slaughter never looked so beautiful.

Well, I'm getting tired and I lost my train of thought so I'll update more later. I'll try to keep up with the blogging more often now I promise!
