Since You've Been Gone

Let's see....where to begin.

To start off, I found an awesome job that was tolerable, super close by, and paid $12 for sitting on my butt and doing Data Entry all day. And then a month and a half later I got laid off. I should have seen it coming though, it was just a temp position after all. I was just hoping it would last a lot longer than that. Goodbye to the $400 a week I was getting very comfortable with. For the time being anyway. Either my temp agency will find me another position, or I'll find another, preferably permanent, position somewhere myself. Here's to hoping they pay just as good!

Along with the good pay went the chances of fixing my car within two weeks...I might be able to get away with one last cash advance to do that with though, if I really need to. Michael got a job at Wendy's for the time being though, so at least one of us is still working so we can pay the bills if nothing else.

The big 21st Birthdays are coming up fast, with Michael's September 27th and mine 2 weeks later on October 11th. If we have the money for it, we're going to Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando to get silly drunk and run with the zombies. Oh and Kristina, Yany, Sean, and anyone else we know who we can lasso along. It should be quite interesting.

Michael and I are planning on driving up to Virginia for Christmas with his parents. Since New York is so close I suggested we drive up and see it, at least for one day. Then, by chance, Berk and Sean were like, hey, we want to go to New York for New Years, want to come with us? And we were like, why, we were going up to New York and Virginia anyway, so why don't you tag along? Berk knows of some super cheap places to stay so it should be good. I plan to try to lose weight between now and then and save up money so that I can buy some clothes and such while I'm there lol. I hope we can save up enough money to do it. We've yet to be able to save money for anything. Of course, we also like to go out to eat and the movies whenever we get the chance to too....Whatever. We'll figure it out. The only thing is that our lease in this apartment ends December 31st meaning that we will have to have already moved into our next apartment, if we decide to upgrade or downgrade at all. Maybe we will just stay in this one? I don't know. It depends on if anyone becomes our roommate or not.

Oh, and it's sort of unlikely and a last resort type thing, but it's possible we might move up to Virginia next year so Michael can become his Dad's dependent again and go to college free for two years or whatever. And because it would be interesting to see what its like to live in another state than the one I've lived in my whole life.
