Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better...!

Turns out this mantra is more painfully true than expected. In my unfortunate case anyway.

While I have pretty much always had to resort to the "if you want it done right, do it yourself" cliche to get quality results in life, be it a school group assignment or the laundry, I've always still held a smidgen of hope that there were people out there perfectly capable of doing things right or at least giving out enough effort to consider it a decent try. Not to be sexist, but this pitfall seems to always highlight a difference between men (average Joe's) and women. To my dismay, so far Michael does nothing much to refute this time-old assumption. The only things he's proven to be better at so far include: drinking oneself under the table, withholding sex, finding ways to squeeze out of promises, pissing me off to a fine even constant inner boiling, and quickly finding porn made by his current favorite actresses to name the top few. Big emphasis on few.

Now, you may say 'Hey, you're obviously pissed off at the man about something, so how can I know you aren't just making him look bad?' But then all you would probably have to do is ask someone else who knows him too and they would probably concur, at least to half of it. You could also say 'Hey, it's your fault for picking a guy who's seemingly useless' and I guess you would be right, thanks to being so naive.

I'll admit, he definitely has some redeeming features or else I would have never bothered of course, but he definitely has a knack for making one forget what they are. *sigh*
I just hope he stops being such an egocentric-hedonistic douche so much, or else I'll eventually get really get sick and tired of always waiting for some satisfaction and regret everything and resort to the weighing of the pros and cons.

Babe if recently u've been feeling more down than up concerning your relationship, and you've voiced your discomfort, AND he's not doing anything to remedy the situation! Then maybe its time to look elsewhere...

hm...
can drinking oneself under the table be something a person is actually good at? if so I guess mike is somewhat talented.

I'm not really going to take a position here but I will say that mike can and often is a (gumby style) blockhead. Maybe it is worthwhile to go through the proverbial pros and cons if only to reinforce, for better or for worse, whatever those + and -'s may be. In my experience a holistic view of situation can aide in navigating it.

hey

Mick Jagger may have had to try and try and try and try to get satisfaction but Aretha demanded it along with some respect

and we can all learn from these two greats
