I'm excited about something, but I don't know what exactly, besides the coming of my favorite season, Fall. It may have been partly due to probably having been mildly depressed and now coming out of it. Plus I'm finally getting a job that's a little more "grown-up", and managed to pass my two summer classes with an A and a B. The prospect of me moving out of my parents house, whether it be somewhere down here, or up in Virginia or Massachusetts, is also something to look forward to. I just hope all my bad luck has finally run out. The only thing to be slightly wary about right now is my relationship with Michael, since there have been some major pot-holes on the road lately, and I don't want to say the coast is completely clear until it's been smooth sailing for awhile again.
Anyway, I can't wait for the cool breeze and dead rainbow leaves everywhere. Not to mention, you get to wear funky fashions and accessories without worrying about the damn heat!
Speaking of which, I bought myself a children's How to Knit book, a pair of knitting needles, a crochet needle, and a giant spool of yarn. It took me 5 minutes to watch a YouTube video and know how to do a single crochet stitch, but after reading a kids how-to-book, knitting still eludes me. Maybe a video will work better. I made Michael a long scarf, and I'm trying to make myself some sort of shrug. All this crocheting (which is hella soothing) has given me a weird little deep-flesh blister on the thumb, and it hurts like a bitch! I think it's slowly rising to the surface though, so maybe I'll be able to pop it soon and get over the misery grabbing anything brings.
Here's to the costumes and cuddling to come in the coming months!
